The USP Medical School has kept permanent and historical bond with the local through a variety of activities which aim to disseminate scientific and technological productions based on the needs and experiences of the community.

The Commission for Culture and University Extension (CCEx - Comissão de Cultura e Extensão Universitária ) develops projects with regard to assistance, advisory and consulting activities, courses, special projects, cultural activities, history and memory, teaching and research and extension.
