The ninth edition of the Workshop Brilho nos Olhos (Shin in the Eyes), promoted by the Superior Administration of the Hospital das Clínicas (HC) of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP), was held in the large auditorium of the Radiology Institute, on December 3, 2021. One day after the FMUSP-HC Academic Health System 2030 Strategic Planning Meeting, which together defined guidelines and objectives for the improvement and alignment of the Institutions' management.

At the Brilho nos Olhos Workshop , the performance and improvement of the care and management model of HCFMUSP were analyzed, in addition to presenting results and incorporating concepts defined in the 2030 Strategic Planning Meeting.

More activities marked the program, such as a lecture by Carlos Piazza, a specialist in Innovation Management, Digital Technology and professor in postgraduate courses aimed at practical activities in Management.

Another highlight of the event was an exercise dynamic that focused on organizational culture and team integration, through interactive techniques. Using colored paints and brushes, a panel was created highlighting the strategic objectives under the themes: “Pride of doing the best for people, with people” and “Together we are + HC, Together we are the best”.

During the Workshop, a tribute was paid to the Institutes and Units of the HCFMUSP Complex for their determination, strength and corporate commitment in favor of society during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Central Institute, Heart Institute, Children and Adolescents Institute, Psychiatry Institute, Orthopedics and Traumatology Institute, Radiology Institute, Cancer Institute, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Institute, Suzano Auxiliary Hospital, Administration Building , Employee Care Center, Faculdade de Medicina Foundation and Zerbini Foundation were all graced.

Both events followed the sanitary protocols against Covid-19, such as the use of masks and alcohol gel and social distancing.
