The III Congress of Public Health from the Public Ministry of São Paulo took place at the Radiology Institute (InRad) of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Medical School of the Universidade de São Paulo (HCFMUSP), on October 3rd and 4th. The event was organized by the Superior School of the Public Ministry, and the public were members of the Public Ministry, the Judiciary, the Office of Public Defenders, managers and health professionals, representatives of the Public Power and the civil society.
On the first day, there were two lectures, one by José Henrique Germann Ferreira, Secretary of the State of São Paulo, on the integral assistance of the SUSm, and another by Prof. Wilson Jacob Filho, Titular Professor of the Medical Clinic Department of FMUSP, about the challenges of aging in the XXI century. On the second day, the debates were divided in the following parts: “Regular access to health services”, “Sanitary Policies for People with Disabilities”, “Referential to the Higher Complexity Services” and “Sanitary Policies for Elderly People”.
