The Vice-President of the International Relations Commission of Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP), Prof. Dr. Nelson Gouveia, received on June 29, 2022, Prof. Dr. Robert P. Lennon to celebrate the agreement between FMUSP and Penn State University.

With the aim of strengthening ties, they discussed academic collaborations, research cooperation and exchanges between the two universities. Dr. Lennon was officially invited to participate in FMUSP’s activities as a Visiting Professor at the end of this year.

Also participating in the meeting were Dr. Matheus Polly (preceptor of the Infectious Diseases program at the Department of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases at HCFMUSP) and visiting researchers from Penn State, Dr. Samantha Murphy and Dr. John Philip Lee.
