Since its first edition, in 2015, Winter Schools has been a huge success. Each year we receive an increasingly number of applications, from which we select an average of 60 students, from worldwide universities. We try to offer students a hollistic experience in FMUSP, introducing them to our health care system, our hospital complex, research labs and, also, providing them visits to relevant places for some medical specialties, such as the Paralympic Center, Butantan Institute (biomedical research and zoological center), Horto Florestal (a forest reverve in Sao Paulo) and cultural facilities. 

The 2019 edition offered courses on Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, Cardiology, Gynecology, Dermatology, Geriatrics (for students from biomedical and social areas, besides medicine), Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry, Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and Neurology
